FADER Label

 

FADER Label is an independent record label based in New York City and home to singer/songwriter Clairo, Detroit native Charlie Burg, multi-talented 22-year-old Zachary Knowles, popstar in-the-making Slayyyter, energetic Platinum certified duo Matt and Kim, and a number of rising talent including binki, ella jane, James Ivy, and more. The label has released a posthumous album from Alan Vega — prolific artist and one-half of the influential proto-punk band Suicide — and also holds the catalogues to roster alumni Saul Williams, The Bots, Yuna, Neon Indian, Ben Lee, Birdmonster, and Editors.

The label was co-founded in 2002 by Rob Stone and Jon Cohen and has since put out a dynamic catalogue of critically acclaimed full-length albums and singles worldwide.

Debut studio album by British post-punk revival band Editors, released on 25 July 2005. It entered the UK Albums Chart at number 13 in July 2005, before peaking at number 2 in January 2006. It was produced by Jim Abbiss, and was released by Kitchenware in the United Kingdom, PIAS Recordings in Europe, and FADER Label in the United States.
